Peugeot 504
The Peugeot 504 was an automobile produced in Europe from 1968 to 1983 (more than three million cars were made). Manufacturing then moved abroad, where it continues as of 2004. The 504 was voted European Car of the Year for 1969.
It is produced as a sedan, station wagon, convertible, pickup truck, and 4x4 with a wide range of motors.
The Peugeot 504 is also one of the most common vehicles employed as a bush taxi, public transport in developing countries.
Its engines and suspension are currently used on the Paykan, the Iranian-built version of the Hillman Hunter.
