National Congress (Sudan)
The National Congress is the only official political party of Sudan. It was created in 1998 by the National Islamic Front (NIF) organization as its legal front. The distinction between the NIF and National Congress is ill-defined. The party head is Omar al-Bashir, who is also President of Sudan.
