Gideon Granger
Gideon Granger (July 19, 1767–December 31, 1822) was an American political leader.
He was a graduate of Yale University, lawyer, member of the Connecticut General Assembly and the New York Senate , as well as U.S. Postmaster General from 1801 until 1814. His son Francis Granger was also later Postmaster General.
