Fred Agabashian

Fred Agabashian (born 21 August 1913 in Modesto, California, United States, died 13 October 1989) was a Formula One driver (Indy 500 only) who debuted on May 30, 1950. He participated in eight Grands Prix between 1950 and 1957, scoring a total of 1.5 championship points and securing one pole position. He holds the record for Fastest Pole Position Lap Speed, achieved in the 1952 Indianapolis race: 222.108 km/h.
