Fall Creek Falls State Park
Fall Creek Falls State Park, located between Pikeville and Spencer, Tennessee, is a state park in central Tennessee. The main feature of the park is Fall Creek Falls, the highest U.S. waterfall east of the Mississippi River. The falls are 256 ft. high, plunging deep into a gorge carved out through the ages by the water. The park also features camping areas, a few smaller waterfalls, and several miles of hiking trails. The park was used as the filming location for the Disney live action movie, The Jungle Book.
