Federal Department of Justice and Police

In Switzerland, the Federal Department of Justice and Police (in French: Département fédéral de justice et police, in German: Eidgenössisches Justiz- und Polizeidepartement) is one of the seven departments of the federal government, headed by a member of the Swiss Federal Council, the Swiss minister of justice.
Until 1979, the department was called "Department of Justice and Police".
