Darug
The Darug people are Australian Aborigines, that were traditional custodians of the geographic area that is now Western Sydney.
Their history in the area can be traced back for 30,000 years. Smallpox introduced in 1789 by the British colonists decimated the population by as much as 90% in some areas.
