Cup
Cup can refer to:
- A drinking vessel such as a teacup or similar drinkware. See also - Dixie Cup
- A cup-shaped prize, e.g Davis Cup, League Cup.
- The part covering the breast in a brassiere.
- A jock strap.
- 1 U.S. customary cup (old) = 0.5 U.S. pints, or 8 U.S. fl. oz. (fluid ounces), equivalent to approximately 237 ml
- 1 U.S. customary cup (new) = 240 ml (as defined in U.S. law 21CFR101.9(b)(5)(viii))
- 1 metric cup = 250 ml (as defined in Australia, Canada, New Zealand), equivalent to approximately 8.5 U.S. fl. oz.
- A cup of brewed coffee in the U.S. is traditionally 6 U.S. fl. oz., equivalent to approximately 177 ml.
