Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness is a video game that was developed and published by Konami for the Nintendo 64. It is the prequel to Castlevania 64 in the Castlevania video game series and was first released in North America, on November 30, 1999. Its Japanese title is Demon Castle Dracula Apocalypse Gaiden: Legend of Cornell (悪魔城ドラキュラ黙示録外伝 Akumajō Dracula Mokushiroku Gaiden: Legend of Cornell).
Legacy of Darkness was the second attempt by Konami at creating a 3D Castlevania, being said to be the best of two Nintendo 64 Castlevania games. It is also considered to be a remake of the first game, containing nearly all the elements of Castlevania 64, but with improvements and added features.
Storyline
The game stars the man-beast Cornell and his quest to save his sister Ada from being used as a sacrifice for Count Dracula.
