Batman: The Movie

Directed by Leslie H. Martinson , the 1966 film Batman: The Movie was based on the Batman comics and the contemporary TV series, and written by Lorenzo Semple Jr. . It starred the 'dynamic duo' of Batman (played by Adam West) and Robin (Burt Ward) battling against the combined forces of the 'fearsome foursome' Catwoman (Lee Meriwether), The Joker (Cesar Romero), The Riddler (Burgess Meredith) and The Penguin (Frank Gorshin) and their plot to control the world.

In the film, these archvillains use a "Super Molecular Dust Separator" to capture the members of the "United World Security Council" by removing their bodies of all moisture, turning them into dust. After defeating the antagonists, a prisoner of theirs accidentally knocks over the beakers that contain the world leaders, causing the dust of their bodies to mix together. So, when they are restored, they all speak different languages from their own. Batman and Robin leave inconspicuously, and the film ends.
