Band
Band has several meanings:
- Musical band, a company of musicians who play parts of a musical arrangement on different musical instruments.
- Band society, a form of human society identified by anthropology.
- A First Nations band, or First Nation, a group of Canadian indigenous people for whom reserves have been provided under the Indian Act.
- Band (electronics), a range of frequencies or wavelengths between two given limits, such as those sections of the electromagnetic spectrum used in radio transmission.
- The Band is a Canadian-American rock and roll band that started in the late 1960s.
- A strip of material in a loop, used for binding, such as a rubber band.
- Bandana, a richly colored handkerchief.
