Many science fairs encourage the participation
of parents in their young children's projects. Young children
may need help with the handling of materials such as glass
and chemicals - or if they need to use flames or other tools
for their project. It can really be loads of fun for mom or
dad to work with their kids! If you're a parent, it's really
important for you to be enthusiastic about your kid's project,
because your kid will then be inspired! At the same time,
all you eager moms and dads should remember something really
important - that it's your kids project - and not yours! You
had your chance back in your school days!
So, let your kid do the thinking and experimenting!
You're there to facilitate and guide your kid
- to make sure that he or she goes through the right steps.
Take your kid through the entire Science Fair Coach, and you
can't go wrong!
